Individual Therapy

The first step to getting help is asking for help and the fact that you are reading this is a step in the right direction!

Clients come to me for a wide variety of reasons including relationship troubles, depression, stress, bereavement and sometimes because they are just unhappy and they don’t know why!

If something is important to you, it’s important to me too! I will work with you at your pace to untangle your thoughts and emotions, to see what’s really there for you, and how to move forward.

 

Many clients are apprehensive, particularly before the first session and that’s totally understandable. It can be hard to open up and share with a stranger which is why I take time to get to know you and for you to get to know me so we can trust each other.

Sometimes therapy is short term (I recommend a minimum of 6 sessions to start with) and sometimes it evolves into a longer term relationship – this is up to you!

Ideally for a smooth therapeutic process, sessions will be weekly, but if this is a problem for you we can talk about different options and adapt as we go along if required.

You may have doubts if therapy can help you, but why not book an initial session and lets see if we can work together to untangle all those thoughts and feelings?
