Christina Broadbent BA(Hons), Dip.Couns, MBACP
I am a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist with experience of working with clients on a wide range of issues including loss & bereavement, eating disorders, sexuality, addiction, anxiety, family issues, work related stress, relationships and long-term illness.
I work with a person centred method which means I work at your pace and with what you want to bring to sessions.
I see Clients for face to face work in Warrington, Cheshire and I also work with Clients on-line, using Instant Messaging, and email.
I really love my work and I have seen the benefit of counselling in my own personal life.
I believe that we are all able to change and so improve our lives – if I didn’t then I wouldn’t be a Counsellor!
I am inspired by this quote from Nora Roberts as I believe it’s important to keep learning and growing and aiming higher in life and I see that counselling helps people to lift themselves up out of tough situations and towards better times.
In our work together I promise to offer you:
- Respect for you as an individual with the power to change
- Empathy to see the world from your point of view without judgement
- Honesty in our work together
I don’t and won’t judge you but I will give you all the time and space you need, to build the trust required, to share with me, and to find the way forward that is uniquely best for you.
I am a member of the counsellor’s professional body, the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists and work to their Standards and Ethics.
